Nematanthus gregarius (Goldfish Plant)
Native to southeastern Brazil, this trailing evergreen subshrub grows on trees in moist tropical forests. Its fleshy, glossy leaves accompany swollen orange flowers about an inch long, whose pouch-like shape gives the plant its common name. It can be propagated from softwood stem cuttings. Photographed in Bogotá, Colombia.
