Myrmecophila tibicinis
Native to Mexico and Central America, it is a large epiphytic perennial orchid. Long flower stalks bear pink to purplish blooms with wavy petals and sepals. A curled lip has contrasting yellow-orange markings inside. Its hollow, horn-shaped pseudobulbs have openings near their bases and can house ants in the wild. Photographed in Colombia.
