Mussaenda 'Queen Sirikit'

Of cultivated hybrid origin in the Philippines, this tropical shrub was raised from Mussaenda ‘Doña Luz’ crossed with Mussaenda philippica ‘Aurorae’ and named in honour of Queen Sirikit of Thailand. Small yellow flowers appear among broad, pink-toned enlarged sepals, which form the showiest part of the clusters. Photographed in Florida.
