The Velvety Pink Banana makes its home in the lush locales of eastern Himalayas, thriving in terrestrial habitats amid sub-tropical to tropical climates. the yellow to orange blooms are enclosed within light pink bracts. The fruits, are about 3 inches long, neatly align themselves in 'hands' of 3 to 4 'fingers' each. The skin gracefully peels back, unveiling creamy-white flesh that encases fairly large black seeds.
