Moullava spicata
Native to western India, this woody climber grows in forests with a seasonal dry period. It is commonly called candy corn plant because of its vivid flower spikes. Dense rows of red-orange flowers follow long, arching stalks, with scarlet calyces contributing to their colour. It belongs to the legume family, Fabaceae. Photographed in Colombia.
