Morinda latibractea
Native to the Rock Islands of Palau, this tropical shrub or small tree grows in humid forests and reaches about ten to sixteen feet tall. Small white tubular flowers form dense heads. Much larger cream-white expanded calyx lobes surround them and provide the most conspicuous part of the display. Photographed in Florida.
