Monochaetum multiflorum

Native to Colombia, it is a shrub in the Melastomataceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 3,600 to 10,850 feet. It develops branching woody stems and dense foliage, with pink flowers arranged singly or in inflorescences. Photographed in Colombia.
