Many small cream-white Miltonia phymatochila flowers spread along long branching stems

Miltonia phymatochila

Endemic to eastern Brazil, this epiphytic perennial orchid grows in humid Atlantic forests and forests along rivers. Each flattened pseudobulb stores water and carries a single leaf. Long, branched flowering stems produce many flowers at once. The greenish-yellow petals and sepals have brown markings, while the lip is white with brown near its base. Photographed in Florida.
