Miconia aeruginosa

Native to Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Guatemala and nearby regions, it is a shrub in the Melastomataceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 130 to 8,550 feet. It develops branching woody stems and dense foliage, with white flowers arranged singly or in inflorescences. Photographed in Colombia.
