Maxillaria egertoniana


Native from Mexico through Central America to northwestern South America, Maxillaria egertoniana is a pseudobulbous epiphytic orchid of wet tropical forest. Individual flowers rise on short stems between narrow leaves. The cupped pale yellow to cream segments are finely lined with purple-brown, while a smaller patterned lip stands at the center.
