Malvaviscus penduliflorus

Native to Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras and nearby regions, this is a shrub in the Malvaceae family. An ornamental shrub cultivated between 800 and 5,000 feet. Photographed in the central Andes mountain range of Colombia.
