Malpighia glabra (Barbados Cherry)

Native to Aruba, Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, and Dominican Republic and nearby regions, this is a tree in the Malpighiaceae family. It is a drought-tolerant tree. It has a notable presence in the southernmost regions of Texas.
