Leucanthemum Lucille Grace (Lucille Grace Shasta Daisy)

This herbaceous perennial is a Shasta daisy cultivar developed for gardens, containers, and cut flowers. Its large, single flowers have bright white rays surrounding yellow centers. Compared with the other Lucille cultivars, it has especially vigorous growth and larger blooms, reaching about eighteen inches tall and fourteen inches wide. Plants can flower in their first growing year without a winter cooling period. The cultivar is used in patio pots and landscape plantings, and its flowers can be harvested as they begin to open. Photographed in Florida.
