Laeliocattleya Big Time (Big Time Orchid)

This cultivated perennial orchid hybrid comes from Cattlianthe Loog Tone and Cattlianthe White Bridal. Its swollen stems, called pseudobulbs, store water and support thick leaves. It is grown in orchid collections. Mature clumps can be divided, retaining at least three healthy pseudobulbs in each section. Photographed in Florida.
