Kohleria trianae

Native to Colombia, this is an herbaceous plant in the Gesneriaceae family. It grows in tropical Andean habitats. It thrives in regions marked by ample moisture, embodying the quintessence of tropical flora with its vibrant, brightly colored flowers adorned with contrasting spots or markings, a characteristic trait within its genus​. Photographed in the central Andes mountain range of Colombia.
