Kohleria hirsuta

Native to Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad-Tobago, and Venezuela, it is an herbaceous plant in the Gesneriaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 330 to 8,850 feet. It grows on non-woody stems and produces flowers among or above the foliage. Photographed in Colombia.
