A trailing succulent native to East Africa, Kleinia petraea has thick rounded leaves arranged along fleshy stems. Its nodding flower heads are enclosed by a tapered greenish involucre and open into a tuft of vivid orange tubular florets. The stems spread across rocky ground or hang over edges.
