Kalanchoe Calandiva has dense clusters of red double flowers with pale centers above glossy scalloped green leaves

Kalanchoe Calandiva (Flaming Katy)

This series of compact perennial succulents is distinguished by its dense, double flowers that resemble miniature roses. Developed from a natural mutation, it has been bred into a wide range of vivid colors, pastel shades, and bicolored forms. The compact plants branch readily and carry clustered blooms above succulent foliage. Their long-lasting flowers make them popular as indoor flowering plants and container displays. All parts are poisonous to people and pets if eaten. Photographed in Florida.
