Ipomoea coccinea

Native to tropical regions of the Americas, this species is a perennial climber thriving in disturbed habitats like roadsides, fields, and waste areas​​. Its range extends through much of the eastern and southern U.S​. It has naturalized in many areas​. The plant holds medicinal potential, known for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties​.
