Hyophorbe verschaffeltii

Native to Rodrigues, it is a palm in the Arecaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 0 to 5,250 feet. It forms a crown of fronds and produces branched inflorescences among or below the leaves, followed by palm fruits. Photographed in Colombia.
