Hymenostephium anomalum

Native to Colombia, this is an herbaceous plant in the Asteraceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 5,600 to 8,550 feet. It grows on non-woody stems and produces flowers among or above the foliage. Photographed in Tolima, Colombia.
