Hosta Hybrid SunHosta
This cultivated perennial herb was selected for good performance in sunny, warm, humid gardens. Its medium-sized clumps produce variegated foliage, with its white markings becoming most pronounced in full sun. It has lower chilling requirements than many other hostas and can remain leafy during mild winters. Where freezes occur, plants become dormant and return in spring. Flowering stalks carry fragrant white blooms for several weeks in late spring. The cultivar is propagated through tissue culture. Photographed in Florida.
