Hohenbergia disjuncta
Native to Brazil, this perennial bromeliad grows on trees. Long leaves form a loosely tubular rosette, and extended stolons give rise to new plants. The tall flowering stalk bears separated clusters of short branches, with yellow flowers and pink bracts. In the Atlantic Forest, its rosettes grow mainly in the middle portions of large tree crowns. Photographed in Florida.
