Heliotropium fuliginosum

Native from western South America to Venezuela, Heliotropium fuliginosum is a shrub or small tree of Andean forest, shrubland, and open mountain vegetation. Broad textured leaves surround tightly curved flower clusters. Numerous small pale flowers are arranged in two parallel rows along the coiled branches, which lengthen as flowering continues.
