Originating from the Himalayan regions of India and Nepal, Hedychium aurantiacum is a perennial plant that thrives in tropical and subtropical climates, typically growing to heights of 5 to 7 feet. It is widely cultivated in tropical gardens. The plant produces dense spikes of fragrant, bright orange-red flowers, each bloom featuring a tubular structure that opens into a star-like formation with slender petals.
