Haworthia cymbiformis (variety unidentified)
Native to South Africa’s Eastern Cape, this small succulent forms clusters of compact leaf rosettes on rocky ground. The fleshy leaves have translucent tips, a distinctive feature that gives the plant the common name cathedral window haworthia. Thin flowering stems carry whitish, tubular flowers in spring or early summer. It tolerates short droughts but is frost-sensitive. New plants can be propagated by division or leaf cuttings. Photographed in Colombia.
