Guzmania candelabrum

Native to Colombia and Ecuador, it is a bromeliad in the Bromeliaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 6,250 to 11,150 feet. Its leaves form a rosette around a central flowering stem bearing flowers. Photographed in Colombia.
