Fuchsia scabriuscula

Native from southern Colombia to Ecuador, it is a shrub of moist Andean habitats. It grows in primary mountain forest and can reach about three feet tall. Its tubular pink to red flowers have conspicuous pale anthers and stigmas, and its flower tubes and young stems bear fine hairs. Photographed in Colombia.
