Eucharis × grandiflora
Native to Colombia and Ecuador, this naturally occurring hybrid is a bulbous perennial herb in the amaryllis family. Compact rosettes of leaves support tall flower stems, each carrying two to five fragrant white blooms. The flowers are about two and a half to three inches across and have a central staminal cup that is green inside and white toward its rim. Plants reach about twenty-eight inches tall. Photographed in Colombia.
