Erythrina costaricensis

Native to Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Panamá, this is a tree in the Fabaceae family. One of eleven native speices of the genus Erythrina in Colombia with a habitat below 5,000 feet. Photographed in the central Andes mountain range of Colombia.
