Encyclia cordigera

Native to Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, French Guiana, and Guatemala and nearby regions, it is an orchid in the Orchidaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 0 to 2,950 feet. Its foliage supports flowers on one or more flowering stems, with the floral form providing the principal identifying feature.
