Echinacea hybrid 'Evolution'

A cultivated perennial herb, Evolution belongs to a group of garden hybrids developed from North American Echinacea. Coneflowers form leafy clumps and send up sturdy, upright stems topped with daisy-like heads. Each head combines a raised central cone of small florets with conspicuous outer rays. Hybrid selections extend the familiar purple coneflower palette to include pink, red, orange, yellow, and white. Photographed in Florida.
