Diphysa americana
Diphysa americana is a small tree to Central America and northern South America. It typically grows in seasonally dry forests, open woodlands, and on hillsides at elevations ranging from lowlands to about 4,900 feet. The species produces striking clusters of yellow, pea-shaped flowers arranged in pendulous racemes. Photographed in Panama.
