Dietes grandiflora

Native to Cape Provinces and KwaZulu-Natal, this is an herbaceous plant in the Iridaceae family. The plant has gained popularity as an ornamental species, admired for its striking flowers and resilience in various growing conditions. It reaches heights of 3 to 4 feet, with flowers that emerge on slender, arching stems. The blooms are large and white, marked with yellow and violet-blue patterns. Photographed in Bogotá, Colombia.
