Cyrtosperma johnstonii is a striking aroid species native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia and the Pacific islands, where it thrives in shaded, humid environments. It is best known for its large, arrow-shaped leaves that feature vivid reddish to purple veins contrasting against green surfaces. The leaves can reach several feet in length. o the presence of calcium oxalate crystals that must be neutralized through proper preparation. Photographed in Florida.
