Coreopsis verticillata
Coreopsis verticillata is native to the eastern United States. This perennial herbaceous plant is recognized by its threadlike, finely divided foliage and daisy-like flower heads that bloom profusely in summer. The flowers feature a cluster of small disk florets at the center, surrounded by bright yellow ray florets. Notably, it has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit for its ornamental value and reliability in cultivation.
