Conradina canescens
Conradina canescens, commonly called false rosemary, is native to the coastal plain of the southeastern United States. It thrives in sandy soils of scrub, dunes, and pine flatwoods, where it forms low, woody shrubs. Adapted to xeric conditions, this species often grows in areas of full sun with well-drained soils. The plant produces small, tubular, lavender to pale purple flowers, often with purple spotting in the throat. Photographed in Florida.
