Coelogyne asperata
Coelogyne asperata is an orchid species native to Southeast Asia, usually growing in lowland to mid-elevation tropical forests. This epiphytic orchid is recognized for its large, arching inflorescences that bear many long-lasting flowers. Each bloom has broad white petals and sepals, complemented by a striking lip that displays orange to reddish markings. The species is known for producing fragrant flowers. Photographed in Peru.
