Cobaea trianae is a climbing plant native to the montane forests of Colombia and Ecuador. It belongs to the bellflower family and is recognized for its large, pendulous blossoms that display a pale greenish-yellow hue when freshly opened, later deepening in tone. The flowers are bell-shaped, with flared edges and long protruding stamens that give them a distinctive structure. Its foliage consists of compound leaves with tendrils that enable the plant to climb and spread across shrubs and trees in its natural environment. The blossoms of Cobaea trianae emit a light fragrance. Photographed in the department of Cauca, Colombia.
