Clerodendrum indicum is native to tropical Asia. It is a tall shrub that can reach up to 10 feet in height and is characterized by its elongated tubular flowers with pale yellow petals and prominent red stamens that extend well beyond the corolla. The plant produces these distinctive pendulous blossoms in clusters. This species has been valued in traditional medicine in South and Southeast Asia, where various parts of the plant have been used to treat respiratory conditions, inflammation, and skin ailments.
