A cluster of double white flowers of a Clerodendrum chinense

Clerodendrum chinense

Native to Assam, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, and East Himalaya and nearby regions, this is a shrub in the Lamiaceae family. The plant manifests as a small, erect subherbaceous shrub, adorned with either white or pink fragrant flowers congregated in dense terminal heads. Introduced to new regions, it has shown a propensity to naturalize. Photographed in Medellin and the department of North Santander, Colombia.
