Citharexylum poeppigii

Native to Bolivia, northeastern Brazil, northern Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, this is a tree in the Verbenaceae family. It grows as a small tree. Photographed in Los Llanos (The Plains) in the department of Meta, Colombia.
