Native to Aldabra, Andaman Is., Argentina Northeast, Argentina Northwest, Aruba, and Assam and nearby regions, it is a vine in the Menispermaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 0 to 9,200 feet. Its climbing or trailing stems carry foliage and flowers, sometimes grouped in conspicuous inflorescences. Photographed in BolĂvar, Colombia.
