The varied white-fronted capuchin, is a species of gracile capuchin monkey endemic to Colombia. This primate has a distinctive appearance with reddish fur on its back, forearms, and the front of its legs, set against lighter fur overall. A dark brown crown on its head contrasts with the light fur on the temples, forehead, chin, throat, and the sides of its face and neck. It resides in the lowland moist forests and palm swamps of the Río Magdalena Valley in northern Colombia​​. The species is classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, which reflects the significant threats it faces in its natural habitat. Photographed in Northern Colombia.
