Cavendishia chocoensis

Native to Colombia, it is a shrub in the Ericaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 330 to 5,900 feet. It develops branching woody stems and dense foliage, with flowers arranged singly or in inflorescences. Photographed in Colombia.
