Cattleya Cahuzacara Haleahi Sunbow is a hybrid orchid within the Cattleya alliance, bred for its striking color contrast and refined floral form. This cultivar combines the long, narrow petals and sepals of certain Cattleya and Brassavola hybrids with a broad, ruffled lip that exhibits a vivid pattern of magenta or purple speckles over a white background. The petals and sepals are typically a soft yellow-green to pale cream, providing a complementary backdrop to the vibrant lip markings. Plants bear several flowers per inflorescence, and the blossoms are known for their longevity and light, pleasant fragrance. Photographed in Florida.
