Berberis goudotii

Berberis goudotii is a shrub native to Colombia and Venezuela, where it occurs in the northern Andes. Its pendant flower clusters are carried on reddish stems and contain rounded blossoms that open from red-orange outer surfaces to orange inner petals. The species has a restricted northern South American distribution, making accurately identified photographs and locality records useful for documenting it. Photographed in Colombia.
