Banksia media
Native to Western Australia, thriving in heathland or open scrubland. It's a small drought and salt tolerant tree with an upright habit. Its foliage comprises oblong, dark green, toothed leaves, and it's particularly known for its golden yellow, tube-shaped flowers which bloom in cylindrical spikes. Photographed in Bogotá, Colombia.
