Native to the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa. The leaves are thick and contain a gel-like substance rich in beneficial compounds like vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids. This gel has been used for centuries for its various medicinal benefits and is known for its soothing and healing properties, especially for skin irritations, burns, and wounds. Aloe vera is extensively cultivated for various purposes. It is widely used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries to produce skincare products, health supplements, and herbal remedies. The gel is often extracted and processed into various formulations for external and internal use. Cultivated between 4,200-8,600 feet in Colombia.
