Aechmea warasii
Aechmea warasii is a bromeliad species native to the rainforests of Brazil, where it thrives in warm, humid environments. It typically grows as an epiphyte on trees or rocks, allowing it to access nutrients and moisture from the air rather than the soil. The plant has a red or pink inflorescence accented with small, contrasting flowers at the top of the spike. Photographed in Florida.
